Cancer Survivors Welcome ‘Right to Be Forgotten’ Mortgage Reform

Long campaigned for reforms to mortgage insurance eligibility are being welcomed by cancer survivors this Daffodil Day. 

The 'Right to be Forgotten' legislation will reduce the remission period for mortgage insurance from seven to five years and raise the borrowing threshold to €650,000. 

Campaigners say survivors should never face lifelong financial penalties or be forced into personal loans due to discrimination.
