President Rosenallis's Ger Hyland is making the claim after a meeting with the Transport Minister today.
Hauliers will block every town and city in the country next week, if new supports are not brought to the Dail on Tuesday.
That’s according to the Irish Road Haulage Association, which is calling for measures to combat the rising cost of fuel prices.
The group met with Transport Minister Darragh O'Brien in Dublin this morning, with both sides describing the meeting as constructive.
