A candlelit vigil is being held for the Laois teenager who died in a crash at the weekend.

The event is being held at Connor Davis Park Clubhouse. Bayroad, Mountmellick tonight at 8 o'clock.

Those attending are asked to bring their own candles and to wear yellow and blue.

In a post on Facebook, Mountmellick Central Hub says the entire community has been left heartbroken and absolutely devastated by the tragic loss  of one of its brightest, kindest, shining stars, who will be remembered always.
