Construction Of New Laois Nursing Home Could Begin In Nine Months

Conditional approval has been given by Laois County Council.

A 62-bed nursing home has got the go-ahead in the Midlands. 

Laois County Council has conditionally approved the two-storey structure that will be built behind Mountmellick's main street. 

It will have eight apartment units, landscaped gardens and a parking area. 

Director of Rocktop Holdings, Michael Fogarty, who is overseeing the project, says it will likely start in nine months.
