Convent Turned Community Centre For Midlands Town

The finishing touches are currently being applied.

An Offaly convent is undergoing works to become a new community centre for a town.

St Joseph's Convent in Ferbane will have two anchor tenants as part of it's new function, St Hilda's Services for people with intellectual disabilities and LOETB vocational training.

The initiative has been successful in securing rural regeneration funding, with a design team putting the final touches on the building.
