Sheila Casey Jones is considering relocating to get a place in a ASD unit for her son.
'The government is puppeteering with childrens educations'.
That's according to a Cork mother who is searching for a special school place for her son in Laois.
Sheila Casey Jones applied to 29 mainstream secondary schools with ASD classes for her 12 year old son Patrick and received no offers due to a lack of school spaces and school policies.
She is left with no option but to relocate in search of a school place in Laois or Kilkenny and can't get a place in an autism unit in a school
Ms Jones says special schools that have been promised by the government are not available and have not been developed:
