Coronavirus: Over 1,400 New Cases Confirmed

66 covid patients are receiving intensive care in hospitals today.

The head of the HSE, Paul Reid, says a "hugely disproportionate" number of people with Covid-19 in ICUs are unvaccinated.

1,456 new cases of the virus have been confirmed today. 

66 covid patients are receiving intensive care in hospitals today - down seven in the past 24 hours.

New figures show vaccinated people have accounted for 17 percent of ICU admissions since April.
