A Laois councillor says he 'didn't mean to offend anyone' with a Facebook post on 'what a woman is.'
In the post, Sinn Féin Councillor Aidan Mullins said 'To me, a woman is an adult human female. If this offends you, then you're the one with the problem.'
Councillor Mullins says he fully supports transgender people, and has no problem apologising to anyone that takes offence from the comments.
But, he says the post is his personal belief:
