It will commemorate those who died during the pandemic and pay tribute to frontline workers.
Those who lost their lives during the pandemic will be remembered at a covid reflection ceremony in Offaly later this week.
The local authority is hosting the event in O'Connor Square in Tullamore this Friday at 12 noon, as part of a national campaign to commemorate those who died and pay tribute to frontline workers.
It'll include a wreath laying ceremony, with Tullamore Comhaltas also performing.
Local councillor Robert McDermott says all are welcome to join in the reflection:

It's part of a series of commemorative events taking place across the country this weekend.
