Over 70 new homes could be on the way to the county.
Offaly County Council are due to make a decision on a new housing development tomorrow.
The proposal is for 78 new homes along the Clara Road in Tullamore.
The dwellings would be a mix of semi detached, end terrace, mid terrace and terraced houses as well as eight apartments.
Associated site works would include a new entrance, parking and street lighting.
A decision is due from the local authority on Wednesday.
