Clubs, businesses and locals in a Westmeath town are being encouraged to come along to dementia-inclusive training sessions.
The Alzheimer Society of Ireland is to hold the training in Mullingar this evening as part of their campaign to create a dementia-inclusive society.
The goal of the training is to ensure those with the condition and their families can fully participate in the community, and one in which others have an awareness and understanding of it.
It will take place in the training room above Buckley's Supervalu on Austin Friar's Street 6pm.
Regisitration is required as space is limited.
