Demolition Underway At Glenisk's Offaly Plant

One month after a devastating fire, the remains are being levelled.

The demolition of the Glenisk factory in Offaly is underway.

The remains of the yogurt plant are being removed from the site in Killeigh, a month on from the devastating fire.

Milk lines remain open in one building that escaped damage, while the rest of the company operates out of temporary offices in Tullamore.

Managing Director Vincent Cleary has also confirmed no staff cuts have been made.

He says they're still on track to get yogurt back on supermarket shelves by the new year:
