Underfunding Irish roads will lead to 77 fatalities, according to Transport Infrastructure Ireland.
The Irish Independent is reporting that failure to properly invest in new road projects and maintenance of current roads will also lead to 381 serious injuries in the next five years.
The N4 Mullingar to Longford road is expected to see seven fatalities and 11 serious injuries, while the N52 Tullamore to Kilbeggan road is expected to see one death and one serious injury in that time period.
