Offaly County Council has passed a motion calling for the implementation of a disability inclusion strategy.
The call comes from Green Party Councillor Mark Hackett, and was seconded by Fianna Fáil rep Declan Harvey.
It's hoped progress on the plan can be made within a months' time, which is expected to feature consultation from the Offaly Disability Equality Network.
