A number of events are taking place this evening to mark Laois Culture night.
Portlaoise, Rathdowney, Stradbally, Mountrath and Portarlington will host events which got underway at four and will take place across the evening up until 11pm.
All events will be free and include offerings of music, poetry, woodcraft and art.
