A man in his 50s has been arrested after the discovery of the drugs.
Drugs worth €53,400 have been discovered in Offaly.
495 grams of Methamphetamine and 487 Grams of Mephedrone were found following an "ongoing intelligence led operation targeting persons suspected to be involved in organised crime operating in the Offaly region".
The joint operation was carried out by the Garda National Drugs & Organised Crime Bureau, the Offaly Divisional Drugs Unit and Revenue Officers.
A man, aged in his 50s, was arrested and is being detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 at a Garda Station in Offaly, and can be held for up to a week.
Investigations are ongoing.
