Lemanaghan Bog Heritage and Conservation Group are speaking out against an approved 15 turbine wind farm.
'Offaly is turning into a dumping ground for wind farms'.
That's the message from The Lemanaghan Bog Heritage and Conservation Group, after a planning application for the proposed Wind Farm was lodged.
The project aims to supply electricity to over 65,000 homes each year and cut annual carbon emissions by more than 56,000 tonnes.
The 15 turbine development is situated on Lemanaghan Bog in north-west Offaly.
