Maximum grants of €3,000 are available.
Mens Sheds across the Midlands are being encouraged to apply to a €1 million Government funding package.
The package from the Department of Rural and Community Development will be able to support up to 450 mens sheds across Ireland with their running costs.
These include heating, utility and insurance bills, with a maximum grant of €3,000.
The funding will be distributed by the Irish Mens Sheds Association whch has its main office in O'Carroll Street in Tullamore.
Minister Dara Callary annouced the funds and stated Men's Sheds have been as "hugely postitive development" for communities across the country.
