€1m Upgrade Works To Start On Athlone SEC Office

The OPW led project will improve the functionality of the building.

Work is to commence on a €1m upgrade of the State Examinations Office in Athlone.

The OPW led project will include replacing and improving all windows, adding pumped cavity wall insulation, and installing a generator in the event of power issues.

Longford-Westmeath TD for Westmeath and OPW Minister Kevin 'Boxer' Moran says that the refurbishment works will improve the functionality of the SEC building.

The works are being delivered and partly funded by Ireland's national sustainable energy authority.
