A €20,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the recovery of a stolen container of Lego in Laois.
The container, taken between February 2 and March 7, last year, held five tons of donated Lego and schoolbooks worth over €50,000 destined for children on Chisi Island in Malawi.
The coded grey container (serial ‘SKIU 292388’) still being sought by Gardaí, one year after the crime near Clonaslee.
The reward has been put forward by donor Cathal O’Connor, whose family business originally supplied the container for the charity project.
