Gardaí in the midlands are appealing for witnesses after €3,500 worth of tools were taken from a shed.
The items were taken during a burglary in the Ballylusk, Ballyfin area of Laois at around 10.30pm last night.
A wheelbarrow, batteries and two chainsaws were among the equipment stolen, after locks were broken to gain access to the shed.
Gardaí are investigating the incident, and are asking anyone who may have information or camera footage to contact Portlaoise Garda Station.
