A new community garden is on the way in Laois following a €50,000 funding boost.
Camross Parish Development Association is the sole midlands beneficiary from the latest round of CLÁR funding from the Development of Rural and Community Development.
The cash investment will see the garden created in the new Camross Village Park, to provide an outdoor space for people to utilise and enjoy.
A total of 25 community projects around the country are benefitting from €810,000.
