Early tallies in Offaly is putting Independent Carol Nolan ahead with 24% of the vote after 42 of the boxes have been opened.
Fine Gael's John Clendennen is on 18%, followed by Aoife Masterson on 17%, with Fianna Fail's Tony McCormack on 16% and his running mate Claire Murrary is on 7%.

Independent Eddie Fitzpatrick has 7%, while Independent Ireland candidate Fergus McDonnell has 6%.
Independent Mike Boylan, Maureen Ward of Aontu and People Before Profit's Keisha Taylor are all on under 2%.
