Efforts Underway To Scope Potential For Green-Energy Data Hub In The Midlands

German multi-national Siemens is carrying out the feasibility study.

A German multi-national has been appointed to assess the potential of locating a major eco-data centre in the midlands. 

Siemens will undertake the feasibility study over eight months at a former ESB site in Offaly. 

If successful, a data centre with renewable energy and green hydrogen will be constructed at Rhode Green Energy Park.
