The fire broke out in the last hour.
Emergency services have brought a fire in Oldcastle, Co. Meath under control.
The blaze broke out in the Co-op building at around 7.20pm.
No-one was inside the building and no-one was injured but there has been significant damage done to the premises.
Two units of the fire services attended the scene.
