Peter Burke is in Portlaoise today to open Midlands Steel's new multi-million euro fully automated steel fabrication facility.
The new plant will bring with it 63 new jobs for robotic technicians, mechanical and electrical technicians, and steel fixers.
The Minister, and Longford Westmeath TD says his department is working hard to develop business in the county.
