Thousands of euro worth of equipment used to stream their games was stolen.
Gardaí are investigating the burglary of thousands of euro worth of equipment from a midlands soccer club.
The theft of €3,000 worth of media and electrical gear from Athlone Town AFC is thought to have occurred in the early hours of Thursday morning, this week.
It's the second time an incident of this nature has happened to the midlanders after cash was stolen in a burglary in 2017.
The club and Athlone Gardaí are asking that anyone who was in the vicinity of the club around 3am to contact themselves or the garda station in Athlone.
The club's full statement can be read here.
