Family Carers Ireland Criticises Lack Of Progress On Government Commitments

The group feels that closing a €3 million funding gap would enable it to accomplish more of its objectives.

Family Carers Ireland says services for its members are going backwards despite numerous promises from the Government.

It's given the Cabinet a tough report card as only 2 of the 34 commitments given a year ago are making "good progress".

The group also says it could achieve more of its goals if a €3 million funding gap was closed.
