The walk departed from Roscommon on Monday.
The Global Irish Famine Way is passing through Westmeath today.
Groups of costumed Famine Walkers and the Irish Ambassador to Canada, Eamonn McKee will arrive in the county today, after setting off from Strokestown on Monday.
A welcome event will be held at Mullingar Harbour on 5pm, with refreshments, bike and paddle board demonstrations, and a traditional pipers farewell at Piper’s Boreen at 9.30am tomorrow.
