The Farming For Nature Handbook launches today.
Farmers across the Midlands have contributed to a new book on sustainable farming.
The book consists of practical ways to create a more sustainable farming future.
Kate Egan, horticulturalist, from An Ghrian Glas Farm in Carricknagower, Pat Lalor, beef and arable farmer from Kilbeggan, James Ham, and Ger Deegan, both forestry and beef farmers from Mullingar all provided information in the book.
Two Portlaoise farmers also feature - John McHugh from Condarrig and Bruce Thompson from Ballyfin.
The Farming For Nature Handbook is launching today, to support, encourage and inspire farmers in a way that will improve the natural health of our countryside.
