Research by Teagasc, presented to the Agriculture Minister today, shows 39% of farmers estimate they're facing a fodder shortage of 10% or more as a result of the summer's dry spell.
Minister Martin Heydon says the Government will consider supports as part of the upcoming budget, following the meeting today.
