The station has been closed for 60 years.
The long-awaited feasibility study of a midlands train station is due to be completed in the New Year.
Killucan Train Station has been closed since the 60s, and there's been a 20-year campaign to get the site back up and running.
Irish Rail was provided funding to conduct the study earlier this year, with the report initially due to be presented before the end of the summer.
