Fianna Fáil Questions Low Number Of Garda Vehicles in Laois/Offaly

The number has declined every year since 2016.

Fianna Fáil is demanding the Justice Minister explains why there are so few garda vehicles in the Laois/Offaly division.

The number has declined steadily from 61 in 2016 to 56 this year, including 37 cars, three motorcycles, and one 4x4.

Meanwhile, the number of garda vehicles in Westmeath has increased from 67 to 73 over the same period.

Offaly deptuy Barry Cowen is raising questions as to why a division that's more than twice the size and has almost double the population has so few resources in comparison:
