Independent TD Denis Naughten's brother, John, was among those chosen.
Fine Gael has selected its candidates to contest the General Election in Roscommon Galway.
Councillor John Naughten, brother of outgoing Independent TD, Denis, was one of those chosen during a selection convention at the Abbey Hotel.
Deputy Denis Naughten, who previously served as a member of Fine Gael up until 2011, heavily endorsed his brother John for the nomination earlier this month.
Also chosen to contest the General Election on the night was Dympna Daly-Finn, who missed out on securing a seat in the Boyle area in the Local Elections earlier this year.
