Five intoxicated drivers were arrested in Westmeath over the St.Brigid's Day Bank Holiday weekend.
Delvin Roads Policing Unit carried the operation in the Mullingar District from Friday until early Tuesday morning.
An unaccompanied learner driver, who tested positive for cocaine and benzodiazepines use, and another drug driver caught speeding, are among the five motorists arrested by Gardaí.
All arrested drivers are due to appear before the courts.
