Tom Mulhall served as a councillor for more than a decade.
A former Cathaoirleach of Laois County Council has passed away.
Fine Gael's Tom Mulhall, from Emo, died earlier today.
He was first elected to Laois County Council in 2009, and served as Cathaoirleach in 2016, before stepping down as a councillor in 2021.
Tom will be laid to rest this Thursday in St. Paul's Church in Emo at 12pm.
