Inland Fisheries Ireland is revealing it paid around €60,000 euro to a communications company prior to a second hearing before TD's two weeks ago.
The hearing came shortly on the back of one in December over governance and financial control after members felt their answers were not good enough.
Independent Laois TD Brian Stanley was chair from 2020 to 2024 for a number of high profile incidents including the RTE payments scandal.
