Martin Greene passed away after getting into difficulty swimming in Westmeath's Lough Ree.
The funeral of a young boy who died in Westmeath is taking place this week.
15-year old Martin Greene from Athlone got into difficulty when swimming in Lough Ree on Saturday evening,
He is reposing at his residence, 7 Brawny Close in Athlone all-day tomorrow and Wednesday.
His funeral mass is taking place in Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in Coosan on Thursday morning at 11o' clock, followed by burial afterwards in Coosan Cemetery.
The family are requesting that people attending to wear red to symbolise Martin's love for Liverpool football club.
