Portlaoise's Antony Perissato de Aguilar died on Wednesday after becoming unwell last weekend.
His parents Raphael and Karla say the seven year old was "healthy and full of joy" playing in a bouncy castle on a beautiful day when he suffered from a sudden heart condition.
They says he will be forever missed by his little brother, Gianlucca and the rest of his family.
A private cremation ceremony is taking place today.
