Garda Investigations Of Drink Spiking Doubled In 2022

The true spiking figures are expected to be higher, as many people don't report drinks tampering.

Gardaí investigated 106 spiking incidents in 2022 - twice as many as the year before.

62 incidents of drink and needle spiking were probed in 2021, while 12 were investigated in 2020.
