The incident happened in Pollagh on Easter Sunday.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a hit-and-run in Offaly.
The incident occurred in Pollagh on Sunday, April 20th at approximately 12.40pm.
No injuries were reported at the time.
A BMW, which was directly involved in the hit and run, was seized for having no tax, no insurance, and no valid NCT.
The driver failed to remain at the scene and investigations are ongoing.
Any road users or pedestrians who were in the area and may have camera footage including dash cam is asked to make this available to investigating Gardaí.
