Two burglaries occurred yesterday evening in Birr yesterday evening.
Gardaí in Offaly are appealing for information and witnesses following a series of burglaries.
They were called to a residence in the Riverstown area of Birr shortly before 8 pm yesterday evening.
Cash was stolen from the house during the incident.
A second property was also broken into the Killyon area.
Investigations are ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to contact Birr Garda Station at 057 9169710..
