Gardai in the midlands are asking people to reduce their speed on National Slow Down Day.
A motorist has been caught driving at 68km/h in a 50km/h Zone on the N80 Main Street in Stradbally, while another driver was travelling at 118km/h in a 100km/h Zone on the N4 Clongawny in Mullingar.
A vehicle was also spotted driving at 64km/h in a 50km/h Zone on the Arden Road in Tullamore.
Nationally 454 vehicles have been detected speeding today.
