Any suspicious calls, texts or emails to be reported to Gardai.
Gardai in Laois and Offaly are urging people to be aware of a scam caller, falsely claiming to be from the online store Amazon.
According to Gardai, some people are still falling for online scammers and are providing them with their personal details, regardless of who they say, they represent.
Amazon say they never contact their customers directly, seeking personal information, payment or offering refunds.
Suspicious phone calls, text messages or emails in the midlands should be reported to your local Garda station.
