A number of incidents occurred in the Kilcormac/Birr areas, involving a number of men travelling in a red Volkswagen Golf.
The car was bearing false 06-D registration plates.
A house was burgled in Kilcormac and a home owner disturbed the occupants of the red Golf in Birr, who then fled on the N52 in the Tullamore direction.
