The incident occurred at a house on Cuba Avenue in Banagher at around 11.30.
Three men and a black Volkswagen Passat, possibly with an 06 registration, were seen in the area.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone who was in the Cuba Avenue area between 10.30 and 11.45, and may have observed this vehicle or has dash cam footage to come forward.
