Gardaí are investigating a theft from a car in Laois.
The incident occurred in the Marian Hill area of Droughill in Portarlington on Tuesday morning, sometime between 4.30am and 5.30am.
Locals are advising people to be on the lookout for any suspicious activity in the area, and to lock all car doors and windows.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to the incident, and are asking anyone with camera or dashcam footage to make it available to them.
