Both vehicles were stolen from Laois yesterday.
Gardaí are investigating after two cars were stolen from the midlands yesterday.
A grey Audi A4 was taken from the Crann Nua housing estate in Portarlington in the early hours of yesterday - two more vehicles were also broken into and ransacked in the same area, and Gardaí believe both incidents are connected.
Separately, a car was stolen from a private property on Shannon Street in Mountrath, after the fence was rammed in in the early hours of the morning.
The vehicle was later found close to the property.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to any of these incidents to come forward.
