Glenisk Working To Retain Staff Following Devastating Fire

All employees are still being paid by the company.

Glenisk's managing director says they're working creatively to ensure they can retain all of their staff.

The company employs 90 people - 50 of whom were on site when a fire broke out and destroyed its plant in Killeigh last week.

A small milk bottling line has since reopened, on which MD Vincent Cleary hopes to start rotating staff on shift work.

He says all employees are currently being paid in full by the company, but hasn't ruled out seeking support from Social Welfare as the rebuilding process continues:
