The Garda Commissioner has been snubbed ahead of the GRA's annual conference again.
The Garda Representative Association still isn't being listened to when it comes to solutions to the Garda recruitment crisis.
That's the view of Westmeath GRA rep Michael Ryan ahead of its annual conference in Kerry this week.
Garda Commissioner Drew Harris has not been invited to the conference for a second year in a row, while Justice Minister Jim O'Callaghan has turned down his invitation.
Recruitment issues persist despite the age limit to join the force already being raised to 50, with calls for starting salaries to also be bumped up to €45,000.
